Hailing from Portland Oregon, Circle23 exhibits dark beauty to gut-wrenching topics. From body-modification to moody portraiture to digitally manipulated creature composites. Transgressive subject matter can be beautiful in the right lighting. Starting out in 2003 shooting shooting fetish events and bands, from there he immersed himself into the wonderful world of concept art. Multiple appearances in the early years at the juried Seattle Erotic Art Festival and solo shows. He has shown in group shows across the U.S. from Baltimore, Detroit,New York, Seattle, and Portland.
