David Rolin Exhibit Opening
Come by THIS THURSDAY to explore unique artwork as you have yet seen that stimulates more than just your eyes.
Ron Jeremy's Club Sesso is Portland's Only Erotic Art Gallery dedicated to showcasing various erotic art forms from local, regional, and national artists. Generally, Club Sesso is a members-only private club.
However, Thursday, January 7th, Club Sesso will be open to the public for a nonsexual event from 6pm-8pm FREE of CHARGE to view over 70 pieces of erotic artwork. If you have been curious about the club, this is a great opportunity to check it out in a non-sexual environment.
There will be complimentary champagne and appetizers. Previous attendance range from 50 - 100+ including art enthusiasts, critics, media, artists, reps, friends and more.
This month will feature "The Essential Feminine" from Portland's very own erotic photographer David Rolin.
"I have been doing fine art photography professionally since 1982. I shoot, primarily, in-studio but sometimes work on location. The broad theme of my work is The Essential Feminine. I explore this through the dynamics of social taboo, gender issues, personal expression, private ritual and more. Every shoot seeks to examine these issues through the perspective unique to that particular individual(s). I consider each shoot to be a singular life event during which I seek to find the resonance unique to both the subject and myself. I join together with a widely diverse representation of people in terms of gender, sexual preference, race and body types to create spontaneous art. The ambience of the shoots is improvisational, collaborative, boundary sensitive and non-judgmental. Together, we seek only the truth as we live those moments." - David Rolin
