Roxanne Patruznick Exhibit Opening
Gallery Sesso features Roxanne Patruznick's Crime Noir & Pinup Series for First Thursday.
PORTLAND, OR – Influenced by pulp crime paperback cover illustrations from the 1940's, '50's and '60's, Roxanne explores narrative themes within both a nostalgic and modern context through her paintings and illustrations.
Gallery Sesso is excited to showcase Roxxane Patruznick's collection inspired by such book cover artists as Robert McGinnis, James Avati, Stanley Meltzoff and Robert Bonfils. She explores emotional extremes in the tradition and context of past storytelling.
This show will be featured at Ron Jeremy’s Club Sesso, located at 824 SW 1st Avenue, Portland, OR 97204, on Thursday, February 3rd 2011, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. This is an opportunity to actually meet and chat with the artist and discuss herinspiration and creativity. Admission for the reception will be free of charge and include complimentary champagne and appetizers.
